2nd initial idea

My second idea is to produce an animation of a character pushing/pulling a heavy object, see videos below:

After carefully examining the matrix; i have descided on my first initial idea to be sign language.  This animation would require a carefully detailed fluid animation if it is to convey the message accurately.  I have sourced several videos from Youtube showing American and British sign language (please see below for videos):

The beginning

In our first lecture we were shown a video discussing and analysing human body language.  It had been extremely interesting learning about how different cultures use alternative body language to convey the same message.

Our first task was to source videos that show some sort of body movement gesture (i.e. sneezing, yawning, dancing etc).  To help with idea generation I had produced a matrix which enables me to plot different gestures or body language and cross reference them with suitable characters or body parts (see below for matrix):
